Brandy Lynch
Director
As the director of Person County Economic Development, Brandy is responsible for leading the county’s economic development department to promote business, industrial, and commercial growth. Brandy leads the overall strategy for business attraction and recruitment while supporting efforts to encourage local businesses to expand. Brandy regularly consults with site selectors, executives, elected officials, and community leaders to position Person County as a competitive location for business.
Brandy is the staff representative for the Economic Development Commission and the non-profit arm of Person County Economic Development, PCBIC, Inc. Additionally, Brandy oversees workforce development, implements the marketing strategy, provides funding assistance, and maintains a robust inventory of available sites.

Brandy joined the county economic development department in 2019 as a senior administrative support specialist before being promoted to specialist and eventually the interim director in 2022. Before her time with the county, Brandy was a legal assistant for the Person County District Attorney's Office and office manager for Mastec.
Brandy has an associate degree in business administration from Piedmont Community College and resides in Person County with her husband, Jim, and children, Jordyn, Pyper, and Cross. Brandy and Jim enjoy watching their children grow up in Person County, surrounded by a supportive and vibrant community of people.

Briana Whitt
Specialist
Briana is an economic development specialist for Person County Economic Development. She is responsible for providing administrative support to the department director. Briana assists in collecting data and research, responding to RFIs, managing the department and non-profit budgets, developing new marketing materials, managing social media, and is responsible for office operations. In addition, Briana oversees the planning and execution of community events.
Briana joined the team in May 2023 and has several years of experience working in various industries, such as insurance, hospitality, and administrative support. Briana’s education, combined with her time in the workforce, lends her to be an asset to the department.

Bryan Eatmon
Existing Industry Specialist
Bryan is the Existing Industry Specialist for Person County Economic Development. Bryan is primarily responsible for local small business and entrepreneurial support, existing industry retention and expansion, and supporting workforce development and community partners.
Bryan joined the Person County Economic Development team in March 2024 and comes with ten years of public service experience with state and local government. Bryan has a bachelor’s degree in Criminology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
