Search for the Lost Colony Leads HISTORY through Person County!

The Sunday, March 26, episode of HISTORY's, "Return to Roanoke: Search for the Seven" reportedly will include segments of interviews and research conducted here in Person County. According to Ms. Kathy Young, Executive Director of the Person County Museum, and Emma Salo, Director the HISTORY segment, the show’s producers visited Person County, filmed segments of the show at the museum and interviewed an exhibitor regarding artifacts found in Person County. We have been informed that segments of these interviews as well as imagery from their trip to a copper mine located in the Dirgie Mine area of Person County will be included in the show set to air this Sunday, March 26, at 9pm on HISTORY.
