Education
Roxboro and Person County offer families a broad range of avenues to educating their children. Quality public, private and homeschool options are available at all grade levels, preK-12, including charter, or “public schools of choice”.
Piedmont Community College (PCC) provides opportunities to students beginning at the high school level and extending into university transfer programs and continuing education programs for all ages.

Higher Learning
Person County is part of the Research Triangle Region, a region formed by and named for the three Tier 1 research universities being located within a half hour’s drive of each other – Duke University, North Carolina State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
